Kids Tickets $1 For LSU vs Washington State Basketball Saturday

BATON ROUGE -- In an effort to increase attendance and maximize the number of tickets available for sale to the general public, the LSU Athletic Ticket Office is implementing a plan in which LSU students will be required to reserve in advance a student ticket for specified high-demand men?s basketball games occurring when school is not in session, starting with Saturday?s game with Washington State.

Students will still gain admission to the game free of charge.

The Tigers play Washington State in the Maravich Center on Saturday at 1 p.m. in a game nationally-televised on ESPN 2.

In order to gain admission to the PMAC student section for that game Saturday, LSU students must first log in to their online ticketing account by this Thursday (Dec. 25) at midnight and reserve a student ticket.

Once students have completed the online reservation process, which is free, they will receive an email confirming the reservation. Once this email is received, students simply swipe their LSU ID at the student entrance at the top of the south east ramp of the PMAC to gain entrance to the student section, as they normally would.

This process is currently only required for the Saturday?s game vs. Washington State, but may be implemented for future games if necessary.

General public tickets for the game are available at LSUsports.net and will be sold beginning at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the upper concourse ticket windows of the Maravich Center. Tickets start at $11 and as part of ?Take A Kid To The Game? Weekend at LSU, youth tickets with the purchase of an adult ticket are just $1.
