Football To Learn Bowl Destination Sunday

BATON ROUGE -- LSU will learn of its bowl destination on Sunday afternoon following the announcement of the BCS Bowl pairings, the Southeastern Conference confirmed on Wednesday.

LSU, which finished the regular season with a 7-5 overall mark, will be playing in a bowl game for a school-record ninth consecutive year.

Tickets for LSU?s bowl game will go on sale to the general public starting on Sunday afternoon once the Tigers bowl site has been announced. On Sunday, any LSU fan can go to www.LSUsports.net/tickets to purchase tickets for the bowl game.

On Monday, tickets for the bowl game can be purchased starting at 8 a.m. at the LSU Ticket Office in the Athletic Administration Building or by calling 225.578.2184 or 800.960.8587.

LSU?s director of ticket operations Brian Broussard also announced on Wednesday that any LSU season ticket holder who submitted their bowl request forms to the ticket office will receive their requested allotment to the bowl for which the Tigers are selected.
