BATON ROUGE — Was it live or was it the NBA? LSU’s latest comeback victory was a nap waiting to happen for two and half hours Saturday night. But when the Tigers finally lumbered to life in the bottom of the eighth, they went at Georgia with a vengeance as Mason Katz’ grand slam keyed a six-run rally and an 8-4 LSU victory over the Bulldogs. “Wow. That was probably about as loud as I’ve ever heard that stadium when Mason hit the grand slam,” LSU coach Paul Mainieri said. “We finally gave the crowd something to cheer about.”
